Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before confirming a booking or completing a payment with Ranweli Tours (Pvt) Ltd. Completing a payment via our payment link or website signifies full acceptance of these terms.
- Contractual Agreement
- The legal contract exists between Ranweli Tours (Pvt) Ltd (“Company”) and the person who completes the booking or payment (“Lead Guest”), acting on behalf of all participants in the traveling party.
- The Lead Guest warrants that they possess legal capacity to enter into binding contracts and accept financial liability for all party members.
- Pricing, Invoicing & Cardholder Protection
- Price Guarantee: Quoted prices sent via official invoice or WEBXPAY payment links are guaranteed upon receipt of full payment or specified deposit, except in cases of major statutory tax increases imposed by the Sri Lankan Government.
- Chargeback Protection Clause: By completing a transaction via WEBXPAY link, you acknowledge receiving clear booking documentation (itinerary/voucher). Unjustified credit card chargeback requests filed with your issuing bank without prior written attempt to resolve issues directly with Ranweli Tours will be contested using these binding terms, driver logbooks, and service confirmation vouchers as evidence.
- Travel Documentation, Visas & Health Insurance
- Visas & Passports: Guests are solely responsible for obtaining a valid passport (minimum 6 months validity) and an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA/Visa) to enter Sri Lanka.
- Travel Insurance: Travel Insurance is compulsory. Ranweli Tours is not liable for medical costs, trip interruptions, personal property loss, or flight cancellations. Guests must hold adequate international travel and health coverage.
- Force Majeure & Limitation of Liability
- Force Majeure Events: Ranweli Tours accepts no liability for loss, damage, delay, or itinerary changes resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This includes acts of God, extreme natural events, civil commotion, political instability, strikes, government entry restrictions, or sudden site closures.
- Service Intermediary Status: While we operate high-standard private vehicles, we act as an intermediary for third-party service providers (hotels, wildlife parks, train networks). We are not liable for personal injuries, accidents, or hotel defaults occurring outside our direct vehicular operations.
- Vehicle Rules & Traveler Conduct
- Passengers must adhere to seatbelt safety laws and driver instructions while aboard vehicles.
- We reserve the right to decline or terminate service to any individual exhibiting illegal, dangerous, abusive, or disruptive behavior toward our staff, drivers, or other guests, with no refund entitlement.
- Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed strictly by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any legal disputes arising out of or related to these terms shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Sri Lanka.
