Frequently Asked Questions

A: Sri Lanka is one of the world's most geographically and culturally varied small islands. Fifteen days still doesn't cover everything — but it covers almost everything you would regret missing. Past guests consistently say they wish they had more time, not less.

A: Yes — we offer a 15-day East Coast variant that swaps the Jaffna north circuit for Trincomalee, Passekudah, and Arugam Bay. Best May–September. Contact us to discuss.

A: Ranweli Tours is a small, owner-operated company based in Sri Lanka since 2020. Your chauffeur-guide is a real local expert, not a rotation driver. We have no call centres — you communicate directly with the team before, during, and after your trip.

A: The standard package includes quality 3-star boutique hotels and eco-lodges. We also offer luxury villa upgrades, heritage bungalows in the hill country, and beachfront resorts. Upgraded accommodation is available at additional cost.

A: Ranweli Tours monitors all park conditions in real time. If any park is inaccessible, we substitute an equally rewarding alternative without delay or additional charge.

A: Absolutely. Many of our solo guests find the private tour format ideal — you set the pace, decide what to skip, and have a knowledgeable local companion for every hour of the journey. No group dynamics to navigate.

A: Simply contact Ranweli Tours via our website ranwelitours.com, call/WhatsApp +94 76 256 6946, or email [email protected]. We will respond within 24 hours with a confirmed itinerary and price quote tailored to your travel dates and group size.

A: Sri Lanka is consistently rated one of the safest destinations in Asia for tourists. Street crime is very low, locals are famously hospitable, and your private Ranweli chauffeur-guide is with you every step of the journey.
